Halcyon Massage Therapy is a labor of love, rooted in a lifelong calling to care for others through therapeutic touch. I opened my practice in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood in 2020, but my work as a massage therapist began long before that. From an early age, I recognized a natural ability to sense what others were experiencing in their bodies — a gift that continues to guide how I work today.
I often describe massage therapy as a study of anatomy in braille. While our bodies share the same basic structure, no two people experience stress, pain, or tension in the same way. My approach is built on seeing what lies beneath the surface and responding with skilled, attentive touch that meets your body where it is — not where it’s “supposed” to be.
I became a licensed massage therapist in 2011 after graduating from Cortiva Institute (formerly the Chicago School of Massage Therapy), where I was recognized for academic excellence. In 2015, I had the opportunity to study in both Thailand and India, experiences that deeply shaped my understanding of the connection between body, mind, and nervous system. These global perspectives continue to inform my work, blending seamlessly with clinical, muscle-focused techniques. In 2024 I was certified as a Rieki master and blend energy work into my therapeutic massage.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide range of professional settings — alongside chiropractic doctors, in restorative wellness centers, resort-style practices in Colorado, and a luxury hotel spa. These experiences refined my ability to provide massage that is both deeply effective and genuinely nurturing.
My sessions combine focused therapeutic work with the smooth, caring flow of a spa experience. I specialize in modalities such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Hot Stone, Reiki, among others. Rather than working from a formula, I draw from multiple techniques to create a session that evolves with you over time.
I am endlessly fascinated by the body’s ability to adapt, recover, and evolve when given the right support. My goal is for each session to provide meaningful relief while also leaving you grounded, relaxed, and restored. Many of my clients value consistency and return regularly, allowing us to build a therapeutic relationship that supports long-term wellness rather than short-term fixes.
I look forward to welcoming you into my practice and supporting you on your ongoing wellness journey.

I approach each massage from a therapeutic mindset drawing on my knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. My goal is to help restore the natural wellness within each client. Throughout the massage session I encourage communication about what you are feeling and experiencing so we can focus in and target your main area of concern. My hope is that you leave feeling relief from any ache, pain, or discomfort.
Every body has a unique set of abilities and I believe massage therapy can recover, develop, and improve ones inherent strength and flexibility. I blend several massage techniques to customize a sessions designed to support an active lifestyle. Commonly clients are looking to rehabilitate past or present injuries to get back on the move, or do some preventative maintenance to keep their bodies operating at their peak performance.

Massage therapy is an excellent way to reconnect with yourself; setting aside some time to focus inward. Allow your mind to be still and present in the moment. Notice the where your body has held on to stresses and allow it to slip away with the soothing touch of the massage.
