Halcyon Massage Therapy has been a labor of love born out of the passion I have for caring for others. Opening in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago in 2020 was a dream come true, but not exactly the beginning of the story. I felt called toward therapeutic massage from a young age and found that I had a unique gift to connect with what others are feeling through the power of touch. For me massage therapy is like a study of anatomy in braille, although each body maybe made up of the same basic parts we are all uniquely different and require the touch of a knowledgeable massage therapist who can truly see us for what is below the surface.
My natural talent was shaped and expanded through the many educational and professional experiences I have been fortunate enough to have acquired. I graduated from Cortiva Institute (Formerly the Chicago School of Massage Therapy) in June 2011 where I was recognized for academic excellence. In the spring of 2015 I had the extraordinary opportunity to study abroad in both Thailand and India. During this trip I learned many new techniques and perspectives on caring for the body, mind, and soul that I enjoy incorporating with my more clinical muscle focused massage techniques. During my career I have worked for Chiropractic doctors, a resort-style massage therapy office in the mountains of Colorado, Rest & Recovery wellness centers, a Luxury spa in 4.5 star hotel, and of course with a wide array of fantastic clients in my private practice.
I enjoy combining effective focused clinical massage therapy with the smoothing and caring touch of a spa treatment. I am endlessly fascinated with the ability of the body to adapt, recover, and evolve. My goal is to ensure that each client feels relief from any discomfort they are experiencing while being fully relaxed and rejuvenated. I specialize in a variety of massage modalities including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, Thai Yoga / assisted stretching, reflexology and many more. I blend elements from each modality to create a customized massage experience for each client. You can learn more about my expertise below.
I am delighted to be sharing my skills and knowledge with you and look forward to working with you soon.

I approach each massage from a therapeutic mindset drawing on my knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. My goal is to help restore the natural wellness within each client. Throughout the massage session I encourage communication about what you are feeling and experiencing so we can focus in and target your main area of concern. My hope is that you leave feeling relief from any ache, pain, or discomfort.
Every body has a unique set of abilities and I believe massage therapy can recover, develop, and improve ones inherent strength and flexibility. I blend several massage techniques to customize a sessions designed to support an active lifestyle. Commonly clients are looking to rehabilitate past or present injuries to get back on the move, or do some preventative maintenance to keep their bodies operating at their peak performance.
Massage therapy is an excellent way to reconnect with yourself; setting aside some time to focus inward. Allow your mind to be still and present in the moment. Notice the where your body has held on to stresses and allow it to slip away with the soothing touch of the massage.
